The Altiplano is a giant stretch of high desert and mountains that covers parts of Bolivia, Peru and Chile. Which runs next to the Atacama Desert. It will be a lot more remote and isolated than anything I previously did in Baja. So packing lighter and smarter will be essential. As well properly acclimatizing to the constant high altitude.

I will also be throwing away my beloved freediving shirt. It has taken a beating and is on its last legs as well as the riding socks. One of the water bottles that is also on its last legs. One of the wallets which is in the same situation,
